National RTAP Announces Winners of 2017 Marketing Contest

Instead of our Annual Photo Contest, this year we asked for your brochures and passenger guides. We got 18 submissions and are excited to announce the winners!  

Most were passenger guides, but some were general transit system brochures, targeted guides for youth riders, or brochures for the agency's mobile app. Two entries had versions in English and Spanish, and one included links to audio and American Sign Language versions on their website.

Winners

1st Place: Benzie Bus, Beulah, MI, submitted by Jessica Carland, Mobility Manager

Brochure about riding Benzie Bus, with a parent's guide to bus riding. Includes bus details, year-round hours and contact info.

2nd Place: Stagecoach Transportation Services, Inc., Middlebury, VT, submitted by Jim Moulton, Executive Director

Additional Information

Grand prize is one free registration for our 2017 Technical Assistance Conference in Omaha, October 29-November 1. Two runners-up will receive $50 gift cards.


Submissions were judged by the following criteria: 


  • Passenger information provided
  • Clarity
  • Visual quality
  • Overall user-friendliness
