support • Jun 06, 2017

The National Rural Transit Assistance Program is excited to host our third biennial Technical Assistance Conference: Transportation at the Center, and registration is now open!  The conference will be held October 29 to November 1, 2017 at the Hilton in Omaha, Nebraska.

The conference will continue the great momentum from Denver in 2015 with content from FTA's Technical Assistance Centers, workshops, round-tables, and a focus on tools and practical solutions for rural and tribal transportation.  The five routes are: Administration and Planning, Operations, Compliance, Coordination, and Technology.

The key audience for the conference includes: rural and tribal transit managers, staff, and contractors; state RTAP and 5311 program managers; regional or metropolitan planning agency staff; and all others who are involved or interested in rural transit.  Go to  www.nationalrtap.org/conference2017 for more information about the conference schedule and tentative sessions.

Participating and cooperating organizations for the conference include the Federal Transit Administration, Nebraska Department of Roads, Nebraska Association of Transit Providers, University of Nebraska, the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center, and the National Center for Mobility Management.
