The Benefits of Electronic Grants Management Systems

Traditional grant processes are often known to be time-consuming, complex, and produce huge quantities of paperwork. Due to its benefits, electronic grant processes are becoming increasingly attractive options for states. Many states are working toward transitioning to grant processes that allow electronic submission. Other states are making strides to go completely electronic with their grant process.

The State of Pennsylvania’s DOT Grants system is highlighted in this National RTAP Technical Brief, The Benefits of Electronic Grants Management Systems, along with Oregon and Alaska’s efforts in making the transition to an online system.
