National RTAP Announces New Community Rides Grant Program

National RTAP is pleased to announce a new Community Rides Grant Program, which offers current recipients and subrecipients of the Federal Transit Administration's Formula Grants for Rural Areas (Section 5311) program the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $100,000 for projects that develop or strengthen transportation partnerships that improve social determinants of health in rural and tribal communities. The project duration is fifteen (15) months.


The application deadline is May 10, 2021.

Informational Webinars

Two webinars will be held to answer questions and provide an overview of the request for proposals (RFP) and the online grant application portal, which will open by April 7, 2021. The webinars will also feature speakers who will share examples of transportation partnerships and lessons learned.

Webinar 2 - Project Development, Performance Measures, and Application Portal - April 15, 2021, 2:00-3:00 PM ET
