Tribal Transit

National RTAP proudly serves the tribal communities residing in rural areas.  Tribes are encouraged to access all of the National RTAP best practices, reports, training videos, workbooks, surveys and direct one-on-one technical assistance through our Resource Center.

Furthermore, tribal transit agencies may utilize RTAP funds to support training and/or conference scholarships.  For training or scholarship contacts, call a R-TRAC Specialist at:  (888) 589-6821.

 

Tribal Consultation Plan

Thursday march 3rd, 2010, Secretary LaHood reported on his blog, The Fast Lane, that USDOT has finalized our Tribal Consultation Plan. As you know, the USDOT developed this Plan pursuant to President Obama's Presidential Memorandum dated November 5, 2009.
 
Within the next few weeks, tribes that submitted comments will receive a formal response letter from USDOT, along with a copy of the Plan. This announcement, amongst other, are designed to make the tribal community aware that it has been posted in the meantime.
