On February 23, 2012, National RTAP will host a FREE workshop webinar on the ProcurementPRO State and Local Portal.  This enhancement to ProcurementPRO, National RTAP's FREE web-based application, allows a state or local municipality to create an overlay of its procurement requirements in ProcurementPRO to form a coordinated federal, state and local government procurement tool.  The final result is a streamlined process available online for managing procurements utilizing federal, state and/or local funding, including necessary boilerplate information, useful checklists, and other supporting and informational guidance documentation.  Here are some of the benefits of a state or local ProcurementPRO portal:

• Improves transparency of the procurement process.

• Broadens the end-user’s ability to adhere to federal, state and local procurement standards.

• Offers a single location for information exchange

• Provides a more efficient system for state and local review of procurements
